At Delight Pastry Shop, we aim to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for all our customers. This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) details the terms and conditions under which cancellations can be made for orders placed with us. By placing an order, you accept and agree to the terms outlined herein.

1. Order Cancellation by Customers

1.1 Eligibility for Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests can only be made within 5 minutes of placing the order.
  • Once the 10 minute mark is passed, cancellations are no longer possible, as food items are perishable and cannot be returned or restocked.

1.2 Cancellation Process
To initiate a cancellation, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on our website.
  2. Navigate to the Orders section in your account dashboard.
  3. Locate the order you wish to cancel and click on the Cancel Order option.

Once the cancellation request is processed, you will receive confirmation via email or SMS. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us directly at +91 9918427675, +91 7607923888.

1.3 Refunds for Cancellations

  • For orders successfully canceled before 5 minutes, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
  • No refunds will be issued for orders canceled after dispatch.

2. Order Cancellation by Delight Pastry Shop

2.1 Grounds for Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel orders under the following conditions:

  • The ordered product or necessary ingredients are unavailable.
  • Operational or logistical issues prevent us from fulfilling the order.
  • The order was placed in violation of our terms and conditions (e.g., incorrect or incomplete information provided).

2.2 Notification and Refunds

  • In the event we cancel your order, you will be notified promptly via email or phone.
  • A full refund will be provided for any order canceled by us, processed to the original payment method.

3. Non-Cancellable Orders

The following types of orders cannot be canceled under any circumstances:

  • Dispatched Orders: Once an order has left our premises for delivery, it cannot be canceled.
  • Custom and Personalized Orders: Orders for custom cakes, pastries, or other items where preparation has already begun are non-cancellable.

4. Amendments to Orders

If you need to make changes to your order (e.g., modifications to flavors, delivery times, or quantities), such requests will be considered only if they are submitted before the preparation of the order has begun. Amendments are subject to approval based on feasibility and availability.

5. Limitation of Liability

Delight Pastry Shop is not responsible for any losses, delays, or damages arising from a cancellation request that does not comply with the terms stated in this Policy. Our liability is limited solely to the value of the product(s) purchased.

6. Amendments to This Policy

We reserve the right to amend or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
